Health

Mr Full of IdeadThere are lots of people out there that wonder how to lose weight fast and the faster they lose it the better it is. And there are also people out there that wonder how to gain weight. Everyone has his own reasoning behind it, which I would like to know so I can write better content about it the next time. This post is for the people who wish to gain weight.

  1. Pumping iron: By weight training you increase the muscle mass in your body and decrease the amount of fat at the same time. Having more muscle mass means you’ll be burning more calories because of your higher resting metabolism (the amount of calories you burn when you’re just sitting still)
  2. Supplements: Pumping iron not working for you? Well, try to combine it with supplements. There are tons, and I mean TONS of supplements out there, each of them promising better results than the other. But all you have to know are two things. Protein and Creatine. While protein will help you gain weight by keeping your muscle mass intact. Creatine will help you build the muscles in the first place.
  3. Frequent meals: Combine this tip with tip #1 and #2. The main area where most people fail miserably on their muscle-building mission is on the all-too important task of proper nutrition. Training with weights is only half of the equation! You break down your muscle fibers in the gym, but if you don’t provide your body with the proper nutrients at the proper times, the muscle growth process will be next to impossible. You should be eating anywhere from 5-7 meals per day, spaced every 2-3 hours in order to keep your body in an anabolic, muscle-building state at all times. Each meal should consist of high quality protein and complex carbohydrates.
  4. Get enough sleep: Unlike other tips which sometimes are hard to follow and difficult to apply, this tip is the easiest of all. All you have to do is sleep for a minimum of 8 hours a night. Your body needs the rest to function properly. If you combine enough sleep with the other tips I gave you, you will see results.
  5. Be consistent! Last but not least, be consistent. It usually times quite some time before you will gain weight. There are some people that get frustrated and quite along the way when they don’t see changes within couple days or weeks. A human body is build to respond to a consistent schedule, so consistency is important if not the most important tip for you.

Hope this will help some of the people out that struggle with gaining weight. If it actually helped, please let me know as this will give me a satisfying feeling.
