AIDS not a problem you say?
This post is mainly aimed at the people that think aids isnt a serious problem. I’m writing this to help raise awareness of the fact that aids is a serious threat and it’s spreading around fast, real fast. To show how fast it’s spreading, I’ll show you couple figures.
In Uganda 1,6 million people have died since 1982 because of aids. Till 2000, the average death count per year was about 80.000. Just last year (2007) there was a shocking deathcount of 130.000. What does this mean? It means there has been a 62% (aproximately) growth in just 7 years. (more…)

A couple days ago I woke up and had a coffee in the morning. While this is a rare situation, it happens once a while. Usually I tend to drink water or thee in the morning, but these drinks don’t wake you up as much as coffee does and this make me wonder something. Aren’t there caffeinated drinks around with no calories or carbs? Luckily this question was answered positively.
I don’t know if you’ll agree or not, but the most delicious part of a chicken is the chicken breast. You ask me why? Just because you can eat it without hassle. No skin that bothers you, no bones that crushes your teeth, just a delicious piece of chicken breast. And I think that many mothers will agree with me when I say chicken breasts are very easy to prepare.
To expand my knowledge about the topics I’m writing about, I’m planning to read 5 books from now till December 31st. Some of these books I have mentioned before and suggested you read those as well. Now it’s time for me to read them and once I’m done reading them, I’ll write a review about them. Actually, I’ve already done two posts based on two of these books.
Earlier this week I wrote an article about how people thought salads were healthier than other fast food. And in that article I mentioned how fast food restaurants ruin your salad and did a little comparison, showing that salads were not healthier than the medium sized burgers from the same fast food restaurant. Today it’s the other way round and I’ll be showing how to spice up salads.
