AIDS not a problem you say?

AIDS not a problem you say?

This post is mainly aimed at the people that think aids isnt a serious problem. I’m writing this to help raise awareness of the fact that aids is a serious threat and it’s spreading around fast, real fast. To show how fast it’s spreading, I’ll show you couple figures.

In Uganda 1,6 million people have died since 1982 because of aids. Till 2000, the average death count per year was about 80.000. Just last year (2007) there was a shocking deathcount of 130.000. What does this mean? It means there has been a 62% (aproximately) growth in just 7 years. (more…)

I think many of you have experienced this as well. To get rid of this, should I say misunderstanding, I decided to write a post about what healthy and unhealthy fats are. This way it will be forever clear to me, and I hope for you as well. (more…)

Coffee and WaterA couple days ago I woke up and had a coffee in the morning. While this is a rare situation, it happens once a while. Usually I tend to drink water or thee in the morning, but these drinks don’t wake you up as much as coffee does and this make me wonder something. Aren’t there caffeinated drinks around with no calories or carbs? Luckily this question was answered positively. (more…)

Hebridean SaidEarlier this week I wrote an article about how people thought salads were healthier than other fast food. And in that article I mentioned how fast food restaurants ruin your salad and did a little comparison, showing that salads were not healthier than the medium sized burgers from the same fast food restaurant. Today it’s the other way round and I’ll be showing how to spice up salads. (more…)
